Excellent, well-appointed home that was spotlessly clean and comfortable

Very nice place. Easy bike ride into Santa Barbara city center and just 1/2 mile from the MIssion. Beautifully landscaped grounds on a large piece of property.

Very relaxing home!

We were gathering family together for an area wedding, and this home was perfect. I love to cook as well as a family member, and we made wonderful use of the fabulous kitchen. The home was so spacious with great outdoor patio and back yard. Very secluded and quiet. Very minor things to say (the internet did not reach well into the main living and kitchen space, but we were told they would call and have someone come and fix that; kitchen could use some decent rubber scrapers; and back doors locked but not securely as we could push on them, and they would open). We called and told about the 2 sets of French doors, and I think someone was coming to look at this. These did not keep us obviously from enjoying the property. We did feel safe, and we had such a great time. The home was beautiful and so comfortable. We were thankful for the AC! At bed capacity, no one will feel cramped in this home. It is very spacious, and people can spread out.

Beautiful property with a great backyard

The property was beautiful! Great kitchen appliances and it had everything you would need for cooking meals. All the beds were super comfortable with soft pillows. The only negatives to the house would be that the front and back glass doors are very difficult to deal with. The front door lock spins several times before it catches. The back French doors were very hard to get locked--one was noted as broken. Also, the lighting inside is not very user friendly with a lot of switches.

Santa Barbara Travel Guide
December 11, 2016 The city calls itself the American Riviera, and if you travel to Santa Barbara you'll see why: This central coast city, which sits on an idyllic stretch of coastline and is sheltered by the foothills of the Santa Ynez mountains, has a ...Mediterranean-like climate and a civility that feels downright European. In fact, it once was European: the Spanish settled the city in the 1600s, and the Mission Santa Barbara is still one of the city's most treasured landmarks. Given the city's sophisticated charm—and high prices—many celebrities have made a Santa Barbara visit over the years, from Charlie Chaplin, who built a hotel, to Oprah Winfrey, who has a house nearby.
