It’s time. Time to escape the external stresses that may fill up your day. Whether you’re escaping the heat, the office, the grid, or just the everyday grind, it doesn’t matter. Because when you stay at Creature Comforts at Cordillera, that heat turns into a sauna. That office turns into a comfy seat by the fireplace. That grid turns into your very own media room. And that everyday grind, it simply turns into making the difficult decision on what relaxing activity you want to do each every day.

Yes, this 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom home is all about the creature comforts of a remote retreat. You’ll feel like you have the typical amenities of a Beaver Creek vacation, even though you reside just about a 20-minute drive to the base of Beaver Creek. So, take in the panoramic views of the mountains from your sprawling patio. Bask underneath the high, vaulted ceilings of your open, loft-style interior design. Savor the flavors you create in your modern, industrial-like kitchen. Warm up by any one of your ambiance-creating, gas fireplaces. Make a splash to relax in your soaking tub after a long day on the trails. Or simply join your neighbors in the community pool or hot tub, after your round of golf on the 9-hole golf course you’ve be granted access to. For you see, contentment is king here on Cordillera Way.

Just remember, while you will have instant access to the Edwards Riverwalk and any number of hiking, mountain biking and skiing trails, you are at least a 10-minute drive to things like Arrowhead (13 minutes) or Vail proper (25 minutes). And there’s no shuttle service. But as one of the first houses in this gated community, an easy escape to wherever you may be heading is always just a tranquil - and scenic - drive away. And that makes Creature Comforts at Cordillera, your next ideal getaway.

Mountain Resorts Moving Beyond Biking and Hiking
November 11, 2016 Mountain resorts generally build their reputations on snow sports. But for many mountain regions, summer is the busier season based on school vacations and the appeal of cool mountain weather when other places are ...sweltering. (see less)

You don’t need to empty your bank account to make memories on the slopes this year—especially not with so ...many classic small ski towns just a hop, skip, and a jump away. If you’re looking to pair big mountain adventures with small-town charm off the slopes, look no further than these destinations—some bigger than others, but all less than 50 square miles in area. First-Timer's Guide: Vail
November 21, 2016 A weekend spent in the mountains is the pinnacle—literally—of what makes living in Colorado so great, even if the I-70 traffic and questionable, or downright treacherous, road conditions can be trying (to say the least). That’s why ...our ideal ski weekend involves zero car time. It’s also one of Vail’s strongest draws: The praised ski destination is unique in that it was a resort first and a town later. The hyperlocal community, free bus system, and centralized businesses that popped up around the resort, which opened in 1962, provide a practically ski-in, ski-out city center. If you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, the Centennial State, or have simply never been to Vail, venture (safely) west this winter, park and unpack your Subaru, and treat yourself to a stress- and car-free weekend.  (see less)
