This month we are celebrating the birthday of our very own Human Resources Manager, Patrick! Patrick is based in the Boulder Office, and if you know him, it couldn't be more fitting. Patrick loves Boulder because it’s a destination spot in itself. He says Boulder is special because it has the small-town charm in the downtown area, with hiking trails and mountains less than a mile away; the best of both worlds. If you’re ever in Boulder, he recommends you drop by the Mountain Sun Pub and Brewery. Patrick lives the InvitedHome core value of “Vacations are Essential to the Soul” as he loves vacations that focus on being active outside, especially somewhere in the mountains. Patrick’s favorite vacation so far was in 2014 when he walked on a glacier in Iceland and found a hidden ice cave. In fact, Patrick has been to Iceland four times, but his dream vacation would be to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. Patrick also loves visiting the InvitedHome destinations, as each one continuously blows him away. Overall, Patrick has loved his time with InvitedHome, even when he was named the Most Mysterious Man in the Office at the company christmas party. Thank you for everything you do, Patrick!

Please join us in wishing a very happy two-year work anniversary to Alisha! Alisha is the Vail Valley destination manager, although she began her experience with InvitedHome as a vacation consultant in the Boulder Office. Later, Alisha had a primary role in opening Vail Valley as an InvitedHome destination and has been there ever since! Alisha loves many aspects of Vail but says her favorite is the intimacy that all residents have for the environment. In fact, practically everyone in Vail is active and spends a great deal of time outdoors throughout the seasons. Alisha’s favorite season is summer due to the many events that are hosted in Vail, such as the concert series, the farmer’s market, and Oktoberfest. Alisha lives the InvitedHome Core Value of Treating People like Humans and always ensures people are treated professionally and with great respect. Looking back, Alisha says her first week at the company was amazing because she got to travel to Maui, and since then she has really enjoyed watching the company grow with new team members and homes. Alisha loves watching InvitedHome come to life and become everything that has always been talked about. Thanks for everything you do, Alisha!
