As is typical with Lake Tahoe cabins, the main living area is located on the second floor. Admire how the floor-to-ceiling windows let natural light flood in, illuminating the airy open floor plan. Couches, easy chairs, and lounges create a circle in the middle, huddled around a cozy gas fireplace, and mounted to the wall above the fireplace is a large TV. Next to the fireplace, a nook is outfitted with a sheepskin rug and throw pillows for a perfect reading corner.
The open space also houses the dining table, which is positioned next to a row of windows that look out into the great woods of Tahoe. Eight guests can sit comfortably around the large, stained-wood dining table.
Completing the open space is the kitchen, which has a wraparound breakfast bar that separates it from the rest of the room. One one side, there’s seating for five additional guests, and on the other, plenty of granite-topped counter space for preparing meals, as well as a gas stove. Overhead, slatted skylights let even more natural sunlight into the area. On the second floor you’ll also find a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a powder room located just off from the main living area.
Step onto the second floor outdoor deck from the living area and you’ll be treated to expansive views, which you can enjoy from the comfort of the deck furniture. A retractable awning is also available for when the strong Tahoe sun is at its fiercest.
On the second floor, you’ll also find the Master Bedroom, which has modern decor like mounted, movable wall lamps and a sleek ceiling fan. In the attached ensuite bathroom, there are two sinks, a stand-alone shower, and a relaxing tub.
Descend to the first floor, where you’ll find an additional living area and two more bedrooms, including one with a king-size bed, one with a queen-size bed. These bedrooms share a guest bathroom with two sinks and a shower/tub combination. Outside these bedrooms there’s an entertainment room with a TV, another gas fireplace, and an audio system. The sofa converts into a queen-size trundle for when guests need additional sleeping space. From here, step onto the back patio, situated under the back deck, for more gorgeous views of the hills of South Lake Tahoe.
