The first floor offers a stunning second master bedroom complete with attached ensuite second master bath decorated with an air of nostalgia.
The main living area on the second floor is ornately decorated with modern touches, including art deco inspired chairs, contemporary lighting fixtures, and a mounted flat screen TV. Sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains appear through wall of windows, where a telescope is available to use to get a closer look at the beauty of the ridgelines, trees, and the valley below. A traditional gas fireplace, made of large stones commands the room, adding a nice contrast to the modern feel of the room. Relax with your group as a crackling fire adds a cozy backdrop to the gathering.
Step through the main living area to the kitchen. Light-stained knotty pine cabinets surround granite countertops, and a long breakfast bar has seating for five. The kitchen comes fully-stocked with everything you’ll need for a home-cooked meal, including an oven, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, a knife set, and dishwasher. The kitchen shares a space with the dining room, where a large table has seating for eight.
If you need some respite, make your way to the fifth floor to find the Master Bedroom, where a king-size bed and lavish headboard are positioned below a vaulted ceiling with exposed wood beams. In one corner, a plush easy chair sits below the slanted skylight windows, and in another, there’s a small desk perfect for catching up on any work. Across from the bed, you’ll find a TV to watch as you drift off to sleep. The attached ensuite bathroom has a double vanity and a stand-alone shower and tub.
Head downstairs to the fourth floor to hang out in the bunk room, where you can watch TV or play a game of foosball. This room also features a sleeper sofa and a twin/ twin bunk bed for additional guests.
Down another set of stairs, you’ll discover a snug twin suite with two twin beds and a window that looks onto the hillside. Guests here will enjoy their own ensuite bathroom, which features a combination shower/tub. The third floor also houses the Guest Bedroom, which has a queen-size bed and its own shower/tub combination in the attached ensuite bathroom. The laundry room is also conveniently located on the third floor.
From the outdoor patio, you’ll have amazing views of the mountains in the distance, which you can admire from your private hot tub or from the outdoor furniture. The home backs up to the hillside, so you’ll feel like you have the mountains all to yourself.
This gorgeous Beaver Creek rental is less than five minutes from the Lower Beaver Creek Mountain Express Lift, making Eagle Overlook a perfect ski retreat that’s quiet and serene, but still close to all the activities in the charming town of Avon just across the river.
