The condo masterfully uses the area to maximize living space and segment sleeping space. In the living area, a large couch, which doubles as a full-size sleeper sofa, runs along the far wall. Two pedestals also serve as a coffee table when pushed together, and are easily moved if you need the additional sleeper sofa. There’s a large flat screen TV in the area, as well as a sliding glass door that leads to the balcony. It’s from here, and through these windows, that you’ll have staggering views of the slopes and the surrounding mountain peaks.
On the far end of the open living space there’s a full kitchen tucked into the corner, which includes a large granite-topped breakfast bar with seating for four guests. In the kitchen, sumptuous wood cabinets line the walls, and every appliance you may need to cook a large meal is available, including an electric stove, oven, and microwave.
In the sleeping area, there’s a queen-size bed and an overstuffed armchair, both of which sit in front of a long panel of windows that provide sweeping views of the mountains, town, and valley. Near the bed there’s a sink and large vanity, and a separate bathroom with a shower/tub combination.
In addition to the location, one of the greatest perks of this lavish condo is the amenities offered through the Marriott. There’s a cozy lounge with a huge stone fireplace and TV, an “Artisans Workshop” for getting creative with clay, metal, paints, and wood, an outdoor heated pool, and several indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The unit is also positioned at the edge of Maggie Pond and its subsidiary streams, and with the kayaks and stand-up paddle boards available through the resort, you can spend the afternoon drifting over the water under the Colorado sun.
If you’re coming to ski, you’re only a short walk away from the Quicksilver Super 6 lift, which will whoosh you halfway up the mountain and give you access to rest of the runs and lifts.
The Chutes at Mountain Valley Lodge is the ideal spot for a Breckenridge vacation, no matter what season you’re planning to visit.
