As you arrive at Heritage Crossing Penthouse, you’ll marvel at how it rivals the breathtaking scenery surrounding Mountain Village. Once you’re inside the penthouse, you’ll know you’ve reached the pinnacle of relaxation and mountain living. Whether you’re with family, friends, or both, large groups love the penthouse for its spacious yet cozy atmosphere and it’s stunning views of the San Juan Mountains. The hardwood floors, high-end accents and dramatic wood plank cathedral ceilings define luxury mountain living.

Venture up to the rooftop deck to soak in your own private hot tub and, wait, Is that a chairlift below you? Why, yes, it is. You can watch skiers whoosh up to the runs and then schuss back down, or possibly even witness the agony of defeat. From here, you have views of the slopes by day and the stars by night. We promise the hot tub will be a daily ritual during your stay.

The main level has a wide-open floor plan with knockout views of the nearby mountain peaks. And as feast preparations are underway for a tired and skied-out crew, relax with some board games or stretch out for a nap in front of the crackling fire. Once the food is ready, go for buffet style on the huge breakfast bar that seats five, and the dining table that seats six. There’s no waiting in line for showers or pre-dinner freshening because each of the four bedrooms has a full, en suite bathroom, as well as lovely mountain views and snuggly beds. Kids and teens will love having their own guest rooms, especially the bunk room, which begs for pillow fights and late-night chatter.

If your group loves to go out and explore the local area, then you’re in the right place. Take a short walk to Mountain Village’s nearby restaurants and shops, or the free gondola that will bring you down to Telluride in a mere 13 minutes. Hit the historic restaurants and bars, hike up to Bridal Veil Falls or do a little shopping in Telluride’s stores and art galleries.

Heritage Crossing Penthouse has all the perks and amenities you could ask for: underground parking, a central location, a rooftop deck and hot tub, room to sprawl out, and did we mention the insane views? With some of the state’s best skiing and world-class summertime festivals, this is the ideal mountain vacation home.

This condo has the "best" of everything

If you are looking to be totally spoiled, this condo is perfect! The location is incredible, convenient to the gondola for skiing or venturing into downtown Telluride. It is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The beds are so comfortable you'll never want to get up! It has all the conveniences of a luxury home and then some! My favorites...enjoy the hot tub overlooking the ski slopes, cook dinner in or visit a local restaurant or simply get cozy in front of the fireplace. Loved it and want to go back soon!

Comforting. Spacious and relaxing indoors and out.

Cool and comforting with relaxing indoor and outdoor spaces. Great views of slopes. In the middle of all the new mountain action with easy access to the gondola to get to the main drag. One of the most best located condos in the area.

Complete Guide to Telluride

This tiny town is known for big mountains and large music festivals. But what many may not know is that it’s the maverick, wild-west attitude of the folks in town that makes Telluride so special. And why people always come back for more.
...Prepare to travel back in time to a simpler place…but of course you’ll have an all-access pass to today’s contemporary comforts and state-of-the-art luxuries that are sure to push your vacation over the top. (see less)

Uber Expands to Colorado Mountain Towns
Uber, the popular ride-sharing service, which has operated in Colorado’s larger cities since 2013, has recently expanded Learn More. into the counties that include the state’s most beloved ski resorts. Powderhounds in Breckenridge, ...Keystone, Copper Mountain, Vail, Aspen/Snowmass and Steamboat Springs can now use their Uber app to hail a driver to whisk them to and from the slopes, a cozy apres ski venue or to safely enjoy the area’s nightlife. Telluride: Southwestern Colorado's Modern Playground
November 11, 2016 Many resorts brag about how their town is a state of mind, not a place; Telluride seems to have taken that concept to heart. By want of its location, it really couldn’t be any other way. It’s certainly one of the most remote among ...Colorado’s major ski resorts, located in the state’s southwestern corner 65 miles from Montrose, the nearest major airport with commercial service (although limited flights into Telluride’s own lofty airstrip will resume this winter). It’s well over 300 miles from Denver. The town itself is located in a box canyon, a narrow cul-de-sac with a flat valley floor and thousand-foot high walls on three sides. Bridal Veil Falls – a scenic attraction in summer and one of the nation’s most difficult multi-pitch ice climbs in winter – is at the head of the valley. Free cross-country ski trails traverse the valley floor, making a pleasant alternative to downhill skiing for an afternoon. (see less)

Taco del nar
Taco del Gnar comes to Telluride
October 28, 2016 The popular Ridgway establishment Taco del Gnar will officially be opening its doors in Telluride on Tuesday, Sept. 13. With the help of a friend who purchased the building, they were able to rent out the first level and make their second location a reality. Prior to the restaurant, the building was home to Deer Consignment. The new spot is located at 123 S. Oak St. directly behind Elks Park. “The park is part of our dining room,” Chas Blanton said. The first location in Ridgway was opened almost three years ago and has gained a reputation amongst Telluride locals. (see less)
Comment it's a great taco that will make you come back to Telluride again and again. The different tacos are awesome and incredibly well executed. The price is very reasonable by Telluride standards. I highly recommend the taco dinner for just $10. ...Family friendly and tons of local atmosphere. The staff is great and friendly to add to the restaurant's amazing style. (see less)
