From the foyer, head up a small set of stairs to the great room, where vaulted ceilings tower above and wood beams create texture and detail. Here you’ll find a wall of stacked stone, which features two built-in wooden bookshelves. In the center, a roaring gas fireplace will warm you up as you gather around in the cozy couches or two armchairs. Gather the group to enjoy a movie or show in front of the flat screen TV, which features a DVD player and surround sound system. In the corner, there’s also a small game table for two.
Just off from the main living area is a guest bedroom, which is on the right just past the Jack and Jill bathroom. The room has a split king-size bed, a flat-screen TV with a DVD/VCR combo, and a shared ensuite bathroom complete with marble countertops and an elegant glass shower with built-in seat.
Step out of the great room and onto the back balcony, where you’ll have exquisite views off to the northeast of the San Sophia Ridgeline, Mountain Village Core, and the famous Telluride Ski Resort itself. There’s also a Wolf gas grill, so you can cook and dine in the Telluride open air.
In the kitchen, sumptuous green granite countertops line the walls, and all-stainless steel appliances from Bosch, SubZero, and Wolf make it a treat to cook for your entire group. There’s also a wine fridge, a deep double sink, a drip coffee maker, a large pantry, and full cook set ready for you. Surrounding the kitchen is a wraparound breakfast bar, which can seat up to three people.
The dining room is an exceptional space. A long wooden dining table sits under exposed wood and a traditional chandelier, and a large bay window lets you dine with unbeatable views of the mountains. Up to eight guests can experience this magnificent setting together.
Head down to the stairs to the middle level to find the Master Suite. Here, a king-size bed is positioned in a cozy room with exposed logs and a dual-facing stone fireplace, which opens up to and warms the ensuite bathroom as well. From your private deck, you’ll have excellent views of the San Sophia Ridgeline. Across from the bed, there’s a large TV and combo DVD/VCR set within a stately dark-stained wood dresser, and in the corner, a cozy seating area. In the attached ensuite bathroom, marble countertops, smooth ceramics, and light stone tiles create a calming atmosphere in an elegant setting. Enjoy a large double vanity, a steam shower, a rejuvenating jetted soaking tub, and plenty of closet space in this private haven.
On the lowest level, the third guest bedroom features a split king-size bed, a flat-screen TV with a DVD/VCR combo, and French doors that open up to the outdoor patio. The ensuite bathroom has a shower/tub combination.
Attached to this room is a stocked linen closet and bonus area with a desk, which joins together with the fourth guest suite -- the bunk room. This room features four twin-size beds stacked into two bunks, as well as a flat-screen TV with a DVD/VCR combo. From this room, step through the French doors to relax in the private hot tub for eight.
On this floor, there’s a common space with cubby storage, as well as a laundry room equipped with a full-size washer and dryer, sink, and coat closet. Another entrance to the home on this level provides easy ski-in, ski-out access just 50 feet from the path to Village Bypass ski run. Or if you prefer, the funicular railway is just a few houses down, and the dial-a-ride system can also come to you. With this location, you can step out of your boots and into the lap of luxury in no time at all. Heading to Telluride to experience the magic of Summer in the Rockies?
