Mountain Memories at Tristant is a 4-bedroom, 4-bath home with unbeatable ski-in, ski-out access, a private hot tub, huge and inviting living spaces, and breathtaking views. In short, it’s everything you’re looking for in a Telluride luxury rental. The home is only 50 yards from the slope, though access may depend on seasonal snowfall. Form and function come together when you first enter the foyer, where you can sit on the bench to easily remove your boots and shoes, and hang your coat in the handy coat closet. Beautiful slate tile floors and hand-hewn wood beams start here and extend throughout the entire home.

From the foyer, head up a small set of stairs to the great room, where vaulted ceilings tower above and wood beams create texture and detail. Here you’ll find a wall of stacked stone, which features two built-in wooden bookshelves. In the center, a roaring gas fireplace will warm you up as you gather around in the cozy couches or two armchairs. Gather the group to enjoy a movie or show in front of the flat screen TV, which features a DVD player and surround sound system. In the corner, there’s also a small game table for two.

Just off from the main living area is a guest bedroom, which is on the right just past the Jack and Jill bathroom. The room has a split king-size bed, a flat-screen TV with a DVD/VCR combo, and a shared ensuite bathroom complete with marble countertops and an elegant glass shower with built-in seat.

Step out of the great room and onto the back balcony, where you’ll have exquisite views off to the northeast of the San Sophia Ridgeline, Mountain Village Core, and the famous Telluride Ski Resort itself. There’s also a Wolf gas grill, so you can cook and dine in the Telluride open air.

In the kitchen, sumptuous green granite countertops line the walls, and all-stainless steel appliances from Bosch, SubZero, and Wolf make it a treat to cook for your entire group. There’s also a wine

Head down to the stairs to the middle level to find the Master Suite. Here, a king-size bed is positioned in a cozy room with exposed logs and a dual-facing stone fireplace, which opens up to and warms the ensuite bathroom as well. From your private deck, you’ll have excellent views of the San Sophia Ridgeline. Across from the bed, there’s a large TV and combo DVD/VCR set within a stately dark-stained wood dresser, and in the corner, a cozy seating area. In the attached ensuite bathroom, marble countertops, smooth ceramics, and light stone tiles create a calming atmosphere in an elegant setting. Enjoy a large double vanity, a steam shower, a rejuvenating jetted soaking tub, and plenty of closet space in this private haven.
