Summary
As the Marketing Manager, you are passionate about all things marketing and thrive on making things happen. You will be responsible for executing our business strategies to build brand awareness and generate revenue through on and offline marketing initiatives, including social media, content management, digital marketing, graphic design, customer relationship management, and guerilla marketing tactics. You will partner cross-functionally throughout the organization to execute marketing strategies and tools that ensure internal and external messages are impactful, on-brand, and consistent. You enjoy working both independently and in a team environment. You have an eye for detail, love organization, and are a confident decision-maker. You approach work with a bias to action and apply creativity to problem-solving. This position can be based in Telluride or Vail, and you will travel to our other mountain towns as business needs arise.
Responsibilities
- Manage online brand presence for our social media channels, website, and online travel agencies with an emphasis on staying seasonally relevant by using photos, copywriting, and design to increase visibility and reservations
- Implement new strategies for generating qualified leads via social media, our website, and online travel agencies
- Support in organizing our content management systems, which includes our property management software, Google Drive, Salesforce, and Brevo to ensure everything is accurate and up-to-date
- Create and post engaging content on social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, to grow our audiences, generate brand awareness, and drive website traffic
- Execute marketing campaigns to move leads through our booking journey and drive repeat guests
- Support the Marketing Director in providing an elevated guest experience by organizing pre-arrival information, updating in-home guides, and sending post-stay communication
- Ensure all leads and new guests accurately enter our CRM software
- Research, design, order, distribute, and maintain all marketing materials for our guests, homes, and InvitedHome teams, including flyers, promotional products, and uniforms
- Support photo shoots and content creation campaigns in our destinations
- Share your ideas for new strategies and programs associated with marketing and sales in response to changes in technology, social networks, and evolving business needs
Job Qualifications
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience. Emphasis in marketing, business, and/or communications preferred
- 3-5 years of marketing experience in the travel or hospitality industries. Focus on content management, social media, and digital marketing preferred
- Proven experience growing social accounts organically and implementing engagement strategies with specific audiences
- Understanding of paid social, including a/b testing, pixels, retargeting, unique audiences, and tracking relevant KPIs
- Self-starter, ambitious, and multi-tasker
- Excellent time management, communication, and project management skills
- Basic graphic design skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
- A high degree of organization, attention to detail, and technical marketing skills
- Curious learner, not afraid to fail or ask questions, try new things, and is adept at learning new systems and technologies
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be nimble in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Works independently, takes initiative, and has the desire to achieve
- Ability to travel (approximately) 10% of the time for marketing, sales, and operational needs
- Salary range: $60k-$75k depending on experience
