You know you deserve it. So, why fight the urge? Treat yourself to a claw foot tub in a spacious master bathroom, and a professional kitchen with high end appliances and granite countertops. You'll feel as decadent as a slice of chocolate cake dipped in gold that was mined on the moon. The great room, however, with its 47-inch TV, DVD player, and Bose speakers, is a bit much. It's like a basket of baby unicorns dipped in glitter. And, that's a little excessive.

Perfect Family Getaway

My family of 9 (ages 9 months to 60 years old) had the most wonderful time at the Timber Peak Lodge. It was perfectly outfitted to meet our needs. We loved cooking dinners in the kitchen. It was well organized and full of gadgets and spices. I had mentioned in the reservation that we had a baby, so when we showed up there were 2 pack n plays as well as a highchair/booster seat. The garage apartment was a nice surprise. It was a quiet retreat from the rest of the house. If we had a car this house would have been a perfect location. If you plan to use the Free Ride Bus as your main mode of transportation, I recommend researching the routes & times before you arrive. My family was a little frustrated waiting around on the bus, but if I had better prepared them I think it would have been fine. That being said, my husband and I had no issue hopping on the bus to get up to peak 7 for skiing. On another note the back yard was great for the kids to play in the snow. Lastly, the house was immaculately clean.

Spring Break Ski Trip

We had a great time in Breckenridge this spring at Timber Peak Lodge. The bus stop was right around the corner. It was a short 5 minute ride to peak 8. The house was equipped with all of the kitchen items we needed. It was very nice and had several beds for our group of 15. I started to panic a little when we arrived because I had planned the sleeping arrangements and could not find beds for 4 of our group. We finally found a door in the garage that led to a little room with the beds for 4. We really enjoyed our stay.
