Whistler Luxury Vacation Rentals

A collection of private chalets at the base of the resort, each with a hot tub, room to gather, and space for the whole group.

Explore Whistler Rentals

Ski two mountains in a morning, ride the record-setting gondola between them, then walk to dinner in a car-free village at the bottom. Our Whistler luxury vacation rentals are a small collection of private chalets at the base of North America's largest ski resort, from a ski-in/ski-out retreat to a home you can walk to the village from, each with a hot tub and room for a group, cared for by our local team.

Overview

Staying in Whistler

Our Whistler luxury vacation rentals are privately owned chalets at the foot of Whistler Blackcomb, prepared to five-star standards, backed by a local team, and about two hours north of Vancouver in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia.

The resort is the largest in North America, more than 8,000 acres across two mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, joined at the top by the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, a record-holding lift that crosses between the peaks in about eleven minutes. Whistler leans into wide alpine bowls and gentle cruisers, Blackcomb into steeper, glaciated terrain, and the pedestrian village at the base ties it together, car-free, walkable, and lined with more than ninety restaurants.

It carries a real Olympic pedigree from the 2010 Winter Games, and the Pacific storms that roll in off the coast pile up more than thirty feet of snow a season, keeping the season running from late November into May. The village sits low, near 2,200 feet, so pack for maritime weather that can be rain at the base and deep powder up high.

Getting there is part of the trip. Fly into Vancouver, then drive about 120 kilometres up the Sea-to-Sky Highway, one of the most scenic roads anywhere, roughly two hours through fjords and forest. Whistler is in Canada, so bring a passport and expect prices in Canadian dollars.

Whistler Luxury Vacation FAQ

Where should I stay in Whistler: the Village, Blackcomb, or Creekside?

Whistler Village is the pedestrian heart, closest to the gondolas, dining, and nightlife. The Upper Village at the base of Blackcomb is a touch quieter, and Creekside, the original base to the south, is quieter still with its own gondola. Our Whistler luxury vacation rentals range across the resort, from ski-in/ski-out to a short walk or drive from the village, and the village is car-free with free shuttles, so you rarely need to move the car once you arrive.

Should I book a hotel or a vacation rental in Whistler?

It depends on how your group travels. A hotel gives you a front desk and room service; a private chalet gives you more space, a full kitchen, and privacy, with our local team and concierge handling the hotel-style touches, from a stocked fridge to a private chef. For families and larger groups, our Whistler luxury vacation rentals usually win on both room to spread out and value.

Do you have ski-in/ski-out homes in Whistler?

Yes. Highpoint Chalet is a true ski-in/ski-out home that sleeps fourteen, while our others are a short walk or a quick drive from the lifts. Tell your advisor how important door-to-lift access is and we will match the right chalet and confirm the specifics for your dates.

What is the best time to ski Whistler?

The season is one of the longest on the continent, running from late November into May, with January and February the most consistent for powder. The coastal snowpack is deep and reliable, and the high alpine holds lighter snow, while spring brings long, sunny days on the glaciers.

How many homes do you have in Whistler?

Four private chalets. Our Whistler luxury vacation rentals range from a three-bedroom that sleeps six to seven-bedroom homes that sleep fourteen, so there is a fit for a couple's trip or a full group. Share your headcount and dates and we will lay out the options.

Do you have homes for large groups?

Yes. Highpoint Chalet and Falcon Cottage each sleep fourteen, and Pinnacle Ridge 42 sleeps eleven, with game rooms, hot tubs, and bunk rooms built for reunions and groups of friends. All are booked by phone or quote so we can confirm the right fit.

Are the chalets pet-friendly?

Pet policies are set per home, so ask your advisor before booking and we will confirm what is allowed at each chalet for your dates.

Where should we eat in Whistler?

The village dining punches well above its size. Araxi is the farm-to-table and oyster-bar benchmark, best booked weeks ahead; Bearfoot Bistro is the theatrical fine-dining night, champagne sabering and all; Rimrock Cafe is the cozy seafood-and-game classic; and Sushi Village and Purebread cover the casual cravings. Tell your advisor what you are after and we will book the hard-to-land tables.

What is there to do in Whistler?

In winter it is two mountains, the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, cross-country trails, snowshoeing, and the Olympic sliding centre. Summer turns it into one of the best mountain-biking destinations on earth at the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, plus alpine hiking, golf, ziplining, lake days at Lost Lake, and the Audain Art Museum in the village.

How high is Whistler, and what is the snow like?

The village sits low, around 2,200 feet, with the peaks rising to roughly 7,000 to 8,000 feet, so altitude is rarely an issue here. The snow is maritime, heavier and more abundant than the dry interior, with lighter powder up in the alpine bowls, and the base can see rain when it is snowing higher on the mountain.

Do I need a passport, and what currency is used?

Yes. Whistler is in British Columbia, Canada, so international guests need a passport and any required entry documents, and prices are in Canadian dollars. Our team can help with the practical details of an international arrival through Vancouver.

Do you offer short-term and long-term stays?

Yes, our Whistler luxury vacation rentals are available from a few nights to a month or more, subject to availability and local regulations. Send your dates and we will confirm what is open.

What is the weather like, and when is the best time to visit?

Winters are cool and snowy through a long season, summers are mild and green and made for biking and hiking, and the shoulder seasons are quiet and scenic. Our Whistler luxury vacation rentals are a comfortable base in any season.

How do I get to Whistler?

Fly into Vancouver International Airport, the international gateway, then travel about 120 kilometres and two hours north on the Sea-to-Sky Highway. Many guests book a private transfer or a scheduled shuttle, and once in the car-free village a rental car is optional. Our team can coordinate the transfer, and our Whistler luxury vacation rentals put you minutes from the lifts and the village once you arrive.

What is included with an InvitedHome rental?

Our Whistler luxury vacation rentals include a privately owned, vetted chalet prepared to five-star standards, a local team on call, and concierge services you can add, from a stocked kitchen and private chef to lift tickets, spa bookings, transfers, and summer bike-park days.

How do I book or get a quote?

All four homes are booked by phone or quote rather than online. Send your dates and group through our Whistler booking and quote request, or reach a reservations advisor directly, and we will confirm the chalet and the details.
