October is Caled's birthday month! Caled works with the InvitedHome team in Florida as Quality Assurance Specialist.

Caled is fairly new to the hospitality industry, but he gained a lot of great insights from his stay on Staniel Cay in the Bahamas...where he got to swim with the infamous swimming pigs! Aside from the pork-uatics, Caled’s stay at the resort on Staniel Cay gave him a great perspective that helps him understand what great hospitality feels like from a guest point of view. It really makes him want to go above and beyond for our InvitedHome guests so they have the same feeling.

While the 3-week Caribbean sailing trip that brought him to Staniel Cay was a great trip, Caled might rank his vacation to Morocco and Casablanca even higher on his list. He visited Morocco to visit his grandparents and his extended family. He loved Casablanca in particular for is unique mixture of old-world and new-world cultures. The most lasting memory from the trip was being able to make memories with his grandmother.

Back at home in Florida, Caled lives on a boat (!!!) and loves coming to work every day with a great, fun, and supportive team. He loves the autonomy of his role and appreciates the responsibility for making sure our homes are up to InvitedHome standards.

If you’re ever in 30A, Caled generally recommends grabbing a drink and watching the sunset over the Gulf. More specifically, he says you should make time to visit Hunt’s Oyster Bar in Panama City - seafood at it’s finest!

October 2017 marks the 1-year anniversary of our mighty numerical magicman, Rufus! As the InvitedHome Controller, Rufus oversees our financial statements, budgets, taxes, and a myriad of other accounting functions.

Rufus doesn’t get the opportunity to interact with our guests or homeowners much, so his favorite part about InvitedHome is the great culture embodied by our team members. He gives kudos to all our team managers for recruiting and retaining the very best people around. With that in mind, his favorite Core Value is “Treat People Like Humans” because he sees it practiced every day by all his teammates.

Outside of work, Rufus really cherishes spending time with his family. Whether it’s on a beach, up in the mountains, or just at a local park, the more time he has with them, the happier he is. His family is going to Disney World in December, but if he could treat his crew to a trip to any InvitedHome property, it’d be Three Cheers in Beaver Creek - he understands the interior decorator is the best in the business!
