The unabashed delights don’t end there, of course. This 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom is a truly a gift that keeps on giving. The main living area is a sight to behold, with it’s towering, knotty-pine ceilings, bright windows welcoming the natural light, and plentiful comfortable seating at every turn for entertaining. And when you are, be sure to let the joy spill outside. There, you’ll find plenty of space to grill, laugh and unwind on your spacious private patio, while you enjoy some al fresco dining or a long soak in the hot tub. We have a feeling there will be many times in which you choose to do both, because multi-tasking never felt so good.
Back inside, head to your modern, gourmet kitchen, complete with seating for five at the seemingly endless breakfast bar that anchors the space. For a more formal setting, head over to the dining table that comfortably seats six more. Seating options abound, around here. The same holds true when it comes time for bed. There are essentially two masters, and both come with a king bed, gas fireplace, and dual-sink en suites. The one on the second floor is where you’ll want to lay claim, as it is also home to a jetted tub, walk-in shower, and even a telescope to survey your beautiful surroundings on those frequent clear nights. The remaining two guest rooms both come with fulls, ensuring a full night of sleep for each and everyone in your group.
And once you’re all properly rested, it will be time to explore the area once again. You’ll be conveniently close to Northstar, just minutes to the town of Truckee, and about 20 minutes more to the lake. Take note of all the neighboring golf courses too, if that’s more your thing. There’s no shortage of tranquil activities when you stay at High Hopes.
