Inside, signature knotty pine wood panels flank the walls of the living area, while an exposed brick wall in the corner houses a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV. A plush sectional wraps around a coffee table, and throw pillows, a butterfly chair, and cush ottomans create plenty of cozy places to lounge. Pick up a book from the bookcase, or watch your favorite movie surrounded by family and friends. The large windows that line the walls let you peer out into the forest, and remind you that you’ve truly gotten away from it all.
From the living area, step onto the large back deck, where there’s a gas grill, patio furniture, and an umbrella that all come together to create the perfect outdoor space. Quiet, serene, and private, this is the side of Tahoe you’ve been waiting for.
An updated galley kitchen stretches across the center of the home, and features all-stainless steel appliances that marry traditional and contemporary cabin styles. You’ll have everything you need to stay in and cook, including a 4-burner electric stove and oven, knife block, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, and full cook set. One side of the kitchen looks out into the living area, and on the other side, you’ll have direct views into the dining room. Here, a classic wood harvest table lets up to 6 guests dine together.
In the Master Bedroom, a sloped pine roof over the queen-size bed makes for the perfect place to drift off to sleep on an afternoon summer nap or during a classic Tahoe snowfall. A sliding glass door opens up to a private deck with outdoor furniture and a canopy of pine trees all around you. In the attached Master Bedroom, there’s a shower/tub combination and a single sink.
The guest bedroom is exquisitely designed to maximize space and coziness at the same time. On one side, there’s a queen-size bed, and on the other, a bunk bed setup with two twin-size beds. Climb the ladder to the loft for an additional living space, which makes for a perfect game room or reading nook.
A guest bathroom on the first floor also has a single sink and large vanity, as well as a shower/tub combination.
