Once you arrive, climb the stone steps to the grand entryway and note the ample space that surrounds your home, filled with nothing but the sound of swishing pines. Step through the front door to find a world of natural lighting, smooth stone, and light-stained oak furnishings. On your right, the main living area has a large and traditional wood-burning fireplace and a TV. Windows line the walls, providing views of the classic Tahoe palette of deep green and light blue. Open the French doors to access the patio, where outdoor furniture is arranged to help you relax in the mountain air.
Continue walking past the living area, and around the corner you’ll enter a contemporary kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances, including a commercial-grade gas stove, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The dark hardwood floors pair well with the pine cabinetry, and the granite countertops tie it all together. Two sinks and a large kitchen island also make it easy to prepare and cook meals for large groups.
Between the living area and the kitchen is the dining room, which features an exquisite wooden table set below an antler chandelier. Up to 12 guests can dine in this lavish setting. A powder room is located just off from this area as well.
Before heading upstairs, you’ll find a few more rooms on the first floor. The game room has a pool table, high bar table, a mini fridge, and a TV. A separate entertainment room has another TV and a sumptuous leather sectional that pulls out to a full-size bed.
The only bedroom you’ll find on the first floor is the fourth king guest bedroom, which has a king-size bed and an attached ensuite bathroom with a single sink and shower/tub combination.
Head back to the main entryway to climb the stairs to the second floor. Here you’ll find the grand Master Bedroom, beautifully designed to be at once contemporary and cozy. A king-size bed is positioned in front of a TV and gas fireplace, with rows of windows along one side. On the other, relax on the plush sofa. The attached ensuite bathroom shares the same gas fireplace as the Master Bedroom, creating an entirely relaxing atmosphere among the stone, tile, and ceramic elegance. This room features a large, jetted tub for soaking, a stand-alone shower, and a double vanity.
Three additional guest bedrooms are also located upstairs. The second king guest bedroom has a window seat overlooking the Tahoe scenery, a TV, and ensuite bath with a single sink and combination shower/ tub. The final two bedrooms are connected by a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom, which has two sinks and a shower/tub combination. On the one side, you'll find the third king guest bedroom, with a king-size bed and crip. On the other side is a twin guest room with two twin beds. The laundry room, with a washer, dryer, and sink, is also located on this floor.
As inviting as the home’s exterior is, you may be tempted to spend most of your time on one of its three patios. Relax under the impossibly clear Tahoe sky, warm up around the fire pit, and indulge in the absolute stillness of this quiet corner of the lake. When you’re ready to head to the lakefront, it’s less than a 10 minute drive away.
