This North Lake Tahoe stunner, nestled amongst the pines and decked out in cedar, has a gorgeous entry and a two-car garage.

And when we say "decked out," we mean decked out with a wrap-around lower deck and an upper deck off the living room.

The spacious upper deck with a table for 4 offers a sunny spot to take in the view (or maybe do sun salutations).

The lower deck's two-top is a cozy spot to have your morning cup (or, let's be honest, pot) of coffee.

Your group's foodies will covet this open-concept kitchen with beautiful granite counters, gas cooktop and large fridge.

Handsome new appliances + an inspiring view = great home-cooked meals!

So spacious -- more than enough countertop and storage space for large groups and multiple cooks.

With seating for 8 and lovely views, you'll want to linger over dessert just a little longer.

The second floor has a sprawling open floor plan, access to the upper deck, a dramatic cathedral ceiling and a cozy gas fireplace.

Indulge in some TV time or spirited conversations from the living room's fun, funky furniture.

Pictionary anyone? The spacious living room was made for fun and games.

Ever notice how all the best parties seem to end up in the kitchen? An open floor plan is the key (and bar stools don't hurt, either)!

A perfect play area for active kids, the downstairs family room has a flat-screen TV and access to the lower deck and yard.

The family room doubles as an entry from the garage and is great for storing your gear.

Sink into the master bedroom's queen-size platform bed and cozy up with a good book and a calming vista.

A roomy walk-in closet and a big dresser mean plenty of space to share (or take over).

The luxurious 5-piece en suite master bath has a decadent rain showerhead and a spacious vanity.

Relax into the master bath's soaking tub with jets after a full day of exploring Lake Tahoe.

Sweet sleigh bed! Perfect for children and guests, bedroom #2 has a full-size bed, flat-screen TV and en suite bathroom.

Kids and teens love having a private bathroom, and this one has beautiful, contemporary fixtures and a shower-tub combo.

A private, cozy bedroom for those who like solitary moments, bedroom #3 has a full-size bed and a sliding door that opens onto the lower deck.

This full bathroom is shared between bedroom #3 and the bunk room.

Perfect for kids, the bunk room has a full-size bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top.

A pretty little half-bath on the lower level.

The laundry room has a shiny, new eco-friendly washer and dryer.

My family stays in cabins very often throughout California, but this one takes the cake by far when it comes to a luxury experience. The cleanliness and professional nature that the cabin possessed emitted the aura of a 5-star hotel rather than just a plain old house. From the private backyard to the huge patio to the incredible tiling throughout the residence, it was an experience that makes me not only want to return to the Lake Tahoe area for the scenery, but to stay in this cabin in the future as well.
