Step into the main living area and you’ll immediately notice an imposing wall of windows that reaches two stories tall, filling the room with natural light and giving you exceptional views of the beautiful landscape. In the center of these windows there’s a massive stone fireplace, where you can throw in the pre-cut logs and listen to the fire roar. Surrounding the fireplace is an open living space with a couch, and above, the high ceilings create shared views with the loft.
From the main living area, step out onto the wraparound deck, breathe in the sweet smell of ponderosa pines, and catch glimpses of the impossibly blue lake through the swaying branches. The deck also has outdoor furniture and a gas grill, so you can spend entire evenings in the open air.
Back inside, an antique harvest dining table stretches out near the fireplace, and has seating for up to eight guests. An additional three guests can also sit at the breakfast bar that separates the living area from the kitchen. On the other side of the breakfast bar in the kitchen, rich cherry-stained cabinets line the walls, and you’ll have access to everything you need, including a 4-burner gas stove, dishwasher, toaster, and microwave.
Upstairs in the loft, the amazing views continue from a unique crescent couch that looks out through the second story windows. Your entire group can find space on this cozy couch to relax and watch the stars come out, with a fire crackling in the lower level below.
Perhaps one of the home’s most striking features is its exciting entertainment room. Rack up a game of eight-ball on the pool table, and enjoy the high bar tables, refrigerator, wet bar, and fun lighting features that dot the walls and ceiling. From here you can also access yet another balcony through large glass sliding doors.
With six bedrooms total, there are two on each of the three floors. On the lower level, there are 2 bedrooms with full-size beds and TVs. On the main floor, two more bedrooms each have a queen-size bed and TVs, and there are two more rooms with queen-size beds and TVs on the top level.
Between the outdoor living spaces and hot tub, it may be tempting to spend all your time hanging around this gorgeous home. However, with the Glenbrook neighborhood less than 10 minutes away and Cave Rock at Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park, there’s plenty to do within a short drive.
Lincoln Park Lodge is the perfect place to spend an unforgettable Lake Tahoe vacation with all your family and friends.
