gorgeous indoor outdoor living

We had a large group of people for my birthday and not only were we all able to cook, lounge, and hang all together in a variety of spaces, but when each of us wanted a little space, there was plenty to be had. The hot tub is really dreamy and I didn't miss a pool at all. One can walk to the beach from the house as well as up and down State St, the Botanic Gardens, the Funk Zone. A truly special place that utilizes space well so that you can feel the separation of outdoor and indoor melt away while you enjoy the California evening. All my friends bookmarked the place and many are already making plans to book it with their families/friends. Everyone benefited greatly from time at this dream home!

Fabulous vacation house

This house is even more beautiful than the photos. The design beauty is in the integration of the outside gardens into the living space. We had a multi-generational house from age 21 to 90 and it worked for everyone. We had plenty of living space even for a large group of people. One night we had a wonderful dinner outside on the back porch with extra guests, maybe 14 people around the table and it was lovely. Which brings me to the second best feature, this is a cooking kitchen! We ate almost all our dinners in because it was so fun to work in, and of course the Santa Barbara farmers market was gorgeous. To give an example, not only were the knives highest quality - Wustof - but my favorite electric knife sharpener from chef's choice was in the drawer! And it went up from there. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in SB!

My Dad is a high-end home builder in the Bay Area so I have seen the cream of the crop when it comes to homes – that’s not to be a braggart, but to set a benchmark of my level of expectations when referring to a “luxury home”. Let’s just say that my chin still hasn’t yet been picked up off the floor – that house is absolutely unreal!?! When we pulled up, I would have re-checked the address to be certain we had the right home had it not been for the detailed and accurate photos on your website…not only is the house truly an architectural phenom, but it was pristine and just waiting to be enjoyed. Your binder of instructions and local attractions made us feel right at home from the get-go, and with the twelve thousand i-devices we have, the fact that every room had an i-home dock was just the icing on the cake! The entire weekend was spent at the fire pit and the hot tub, but the house is such a treasure that each room honestly provides its own experience – we were literally researching squatter’s rights before we left as we just didn’t want to go back to reality!?! Thank you again, so much, for the hospitality, and for truly making our getaway weekend “plug-n-play”. What a weekend!!
