The home is only 100 yards from the slope, though access may depend on seasonal snowfall.

The home is tucked into a hillside and surrounded by trees, however this is far from a rustic cabin. Step into the main living area on the second floor and enter a world of modern luxury, recently updated to create a crisp and clean - yet still traditional - mountain experience. This combination of classic and contemporary is best on display in the gas fireplace, where a massive stone hearth supports a chimney paneled with sleek multi-shaded wood. Overhead, exposed wood beams stretch across a vaulted ceiling, and a two-story wall of windows provides views of the alpine landscape you’ll never tire of. Next to the fireplace, there’s a mounted flat screen TV, and surrounding it, a cozy couch and stately leather chairs all bathed in natural sunlight.

The living area is a part of an open floor plan that also houses the dining room. Here, an elegant wood table can be set for eight guests who can dine with views of the hillside and beneath a wrought iron chandelier with a Western twist.

Next to the dining area is a gorgeous breakfast bar with seating for three that’s topped with polished stone so smooth you’ll notice the reflection of clouds drifting by. This countertop separates the dining area from the kitchen, and on the other side, is made up of fine wood cabinets. Throughout the kitchen, stainless steel amenities, like the dishwasher and 4-burner electric stove, make

From this main living space, step onto the back balcony, where an outdoor dining table lets you enjoy a meal under the stars with a backdrop of silhouetted pines. To warm up on chilly mountain nights, there’s also an outdoor gas heater.

Make your way to the third floor to settle into the Master Bedroom, where modern angled ceilings are paired with traditional, wooden furnishings. A king-size bed sits in front of a sliding glass door, which provides access to a private balcony. There’s also a TV in the corner to watch from the comfort of bed. In the attached ensuite bathroom, there’s a lavish double vanity and a shower/tub combination.

The other three bedrooms are down on the first floor. The queen guest bedroom has a queen-size bed with a lavish tufted cloth headboard, and a rich dresser made of carved stained wood. A TV on the dresser and a large window offer plenty of sights to take in. In the twin room, two twin beds stretch out in front of a long window with views of the lush forest outside, and in the bunk room, you’ll find a cozy lodge-style setup of four bunks made of natural wood. The first floor bedrooms share two full bathrooms, each elegantly decorated with clean lines and designed with plenty of space.
