Step inside one of the biggest 2-bedroom condos at this resort. Drop your bags and take a deep breath. Grab a glass of water if so you choose. Now get back outside to explore all Honua Kai has to offer. Repeat as necessary. Because this unit currently has great value for those larger families who want to experience every resort amenity. And do we ever mean “every.”

It’s a completely different (water) world at Honua Kai, with oceanfront restaurants, really cool pools at every turn, and pristine beaches just steps from your spacious condo. A hard-to-find commodity at a reasonable cost in these parts, Mauka Makai can comfortably sleep six, with both of the bedrooms laying claim to their very own bathrooms. We know that on vacation, a well-spaced family is a happy family. And with more than 1,200 square feet from which to spread out, dining and lounging around your unit takes minimal effort for maximum enjoyment. But homebodies you are not. You’re here for the resort. And with construction currently changing the views from this particular condo, that’s a good thing. Your whole family is free to get out there and choose what to see. Of course, we encourage you to call for the latest neighboring construction updates that may affect your views. But they certainly won’t affect your good time.

Honua Kai Resort is the newest oceanfront condo resort on Maui’s North Ka’anapali Beach. This home away from home resort offers all of the amenities of a luxury hotel. Watch the sunset from Duke's oceanfront restaurant, grab a latte at Aina's gourmet market, or relax poolside at a cabana while soaking in the ocean views. There are four pools to choose from with waterslides, lava rock lined lazy rivers, waterfalls, and a serene infinity pool. The lush landscape provides privacy at the many hot tubs and creates secluded alcoves for lounge chairs. There’s lots to do close to Honua Kai Resort but you’ll never need to leave if you don’t want to.

Absolutely everything about this place was perfect. Even the construction site next door was fun to watch, and didn't really add too much noise or dust (at least we were never inconvenienced by it at all). The location, amenities, and whole experience was wonderful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Awesome condo with a gorgeous lanai!

My family of 4 stayed this past Thanksgiving in this wonderful condo. The furnishings are really very nice, beds are super comfortable, space is fabulous but the most awesome feature is the huge lanai. We basically opened the lanai doors upon arrival and never, ever closed them again. No need for air conditioning or heating when you have the gentle breezes. The position of the lanai is perfect too, as the other side of the building is really windy but not this side of the building. The view is awesome too. I can't say enough about the place it was really lovely, and the owners are helpful and responsive.

Absolutley Perfect!!!”

Not one bad thing to say about this place. It is a beautiful, well-kept vacation home. From the minute we walked in, we were all blown away. So were all the friends we had over who were staying somewhere else. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are great. Everything was in great working order. If you are going to stay in the Honua Kai, this is the unit you want!!!!!

What You Should Know

What We love

  • Having actual room for the whole family to scatter and rest after a long day in the water and in the hot sun.
  • Folding away the nano doors and letting the evening's ocean breeze flow into the living room.
  • Letting the kids split the king in the second bedroom into two twins, so everyone gets a good night's sleep.

What to know

  • This condo is best for guests that will be out exploring the island or at the pool. It is listed at a reduced rate because this home overlooks a neighboring construction project. There will likely be some construction noise and dust during the hours of 8 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Saturday.
  • An InvitedHome host will meet you upon arrival instead of checking in at the front desk.
  • The king bed in the second bedroom can be split into two twin beds at an additional cost.

  • You'll receive a confirmation email shortly after booking.
  • If you've booked more than 60 days prior to your arrival date, we'll send you an email requesting your final payment as that date gets closer.
  • Once you're paid in full, we'll send you an email with the check-in information for your stay, including property access and who to call in case of a problem.

The Particulars

However, early check-in and late check-outs cannot be guaranteed until 24 hours prior to check-in or check-out date. Please “check-in” with our team for further details.

Cancellation Policy

  • Hit the "Book Now" button a bit too soon? No worries. We offer a 24-hour grace period where any reservation made is eligible for a full refund. Hey, it happens.

  • We encourage you to double check everything before you book to make sure you've selected that perfect home, at the ideal time. And while we're on the subject of peace of mind, ask us about our travel insurance package. It's just another amenity we offer to make booking your stay as relaxing as possible.
