Watch the sky burn orange as the sun sets below the Pacific as you’re sipping on a cocktail, or see the trees in the park light up as the sun comes up over the West Maui Mountains. Your lanai doesn’t look into other condos and is secluded from the view of other guests, so enjoy the privacy while you relax to the ocean breeze. Rent some boogie boards and head down to the world-famous Kaanapali Beach, or just set up under a beach umbrella and chair and read a book. Then head to Duke’s on-site for a delicious seafood dinner. Finally, return to your comfy king bed and fall asleep to the sounds of the surf. Honua Kai Resort is the newest oceanfront condo resort on Maui’s North Ka’anapali Beach. This home away from home resort offers all of the amenities of a luxury hotel. Watch the sunset from Duke's oceanfront restaurant, grab a latte at Aina's gourmet market, or relax poolside at a cabana while soaking in the ocean views. There are four pools to choose from with waterslides, lava rock lined lazy rivers, waterfalls, and a serene infinity pool. The lush landscape provides privacy at the many hot tubs and creates secluded alcoves for lounge chairs. There’s lots to do close to Honua Kai Resort but you’ll never need to leave if you don’t want to.

Excellent condo

We stayed in this condo for 6 nights. It was clean and well maintained. All kitchen items worked and the shelves were well stocked with plates and pots and pans. The view gives you a sliver of the ocean and the lanai looks out over the parking lot on the side of the hotel. It was quiet and private but if you are really looking for a view of the ocean pay for the full ocean view. This condo complex is a hopping place but never felt crowded or overrun with kids. The complex is new and very resort like even though it is a condo complex. The beach is within walking distance and we saw a "huge" sea turtle while snorkeling off the beach. We also saw several whales breaching in the far distance from the resort beach. I would definately stay in this complex again and would use Maui Blue properties again. Very responsive, courteous, and accomodating. You can't go wrong with this agency.

A great spot for first timers!

I chose this resort before all the others because of the great location and also because it was more modern then most. This was both myself and my boyfriends first trip to Hawaii and I wanted it to be perfect! We are in our 30's and stayed 9 days, and this resort was great. The condo had everything you needed to live comfortably. We didn't have an ocean view (it had a partial ocean view through the trees) but that didn't really matter to me, Id rather be on the beach looking at the ocean then sitting in my room looking at the ocean. The view was of the well kept resort grounds so that was good enough for me! The only things I would change would be the shower head, the pressure was way too hard (can hurt your sun burnt skin LOL), and there should be 1 visit from house cleaning if you stay 7+ days (at no extra cost). A grocery store is literally across the street so that was nice, and we drove all over finding different restaurants to eat at, and if we were too tired to go anywhere Dukes restaurant down by the pools was the perfect back-up plan (they have great pina coladas!) The complimentary beach towels and chairs were great, and a must! Also, paying for under ground parking is well worth it, It gets pretty hot! I would definitely recommend this resort to friends and family!

Great condo for family vacation!!

We enjoyed our stay in 438 Konea! All the comforts of home! It was a week of relaxation, boogie boarding, snorkeling and fun. We did stay at the resort and BBQ & cook a few nights and it was nice to have everything we needed available in the kitchen. I was pleased to have enough soap, & paper products for our 10 day stay. I brought stuff I didn't have to use. Mahalo! The view from the Lanai is beautiful and relaxing. I took a lot of photo's of the Maui sunset. The resort is a short drive to several fun area's; Lahaina, Whalers Village, Napali, & Kapalua. Dukes was fantastic for breakfast, happy hour and dinner and it is conveniently located at the resort. We can't wait to come back ! Aloha

What to know

  • The kiawe trees in the park next door are home to small birds who may come looking for food on your lanai if its left unattended.
  • Being on the North side of the property, the condo looks out towards the older neighboring resorts in the distance.
  • An InvitedHome host will meet you upon arrival instead of checking in at the front desk.

What to expect after booking

  • You'll receive a confirmation email shortly after booking.
  • If you've booked more than 60 days prior to your arrival date, we'll send you an email requesting your final payment as that date gets closer.
  • Once you're paid in full, we'll send you an email with the check-in information for your stay, including property access and who to call in case of a problem.

We’re always happy to make you happy. In some cases, it may be possible to grant an earlier check-in or later check-out depending on the booking and maintenance schedule. However, early check-in and late check-outs cannot be guaranteed until 24 hours prior to check-in or check-out date. Please “check-in” with our team for further details.

Cancellation Policy

  • Hit the "Book Now" button a bit too soon? No worries. We offer a 24-hour grace period where any reservation made is eligible for a full refund. Hey, it happens.

  • Your initial payment is 30% of the total, with the remaining balance due 60 days out from checkin. After the 24 hour grace period, all payments become non-refundable.

  • We encourage you to double check everything before you book to make sure you've selected that perfect home, at the ideal time. And while we're on the subject of peace of mind, ask us about our travel insurance package. It's just another amenity we offer to make booking your stay as relaxing as possible.
