There's no better way to experience the mountains of Colorado than in a real log home. But don't worry, this isn't the kind of log home that sports a dirt floor and a nasty draft. This is a luxury home with all of the charm of the past, and all the amenities of the present. If Honest Abe were alive today, he'd be awfully jealous of the gourmet kitchen, hardwood floors, 4 bedrooms each with a private bath, and 2400 square feet of living space. Mountain Echo Lodge is the perfect getaway when you want to enjoy expansive mountain views and some peace and quiet, but it's also really convenient when you want to get out and enjoy everything that Breckenridge has to offer. Walk a short distance to the shuttle stop, and you can head off to skiing or shopping downtown free of charge.

Your own personal lodge with large logs.

Great location with easy access to town or trails. Clean and comfy. We used the large fire pit every evening as the grandkids learned to make campfires. Manager was very attentive. The place was stocked with every piece of kitchen equipment you might need except a Sou Vide. Great hike up to carbonite mine behind the property. Mt Baldy is a tad farther but easy hiking.

Amazing real Log Cabin

This was a great cabin, with everything we needed. I liked the privacy of the open woods behind the cabin as well. Also it had breathtaking views out the front of the cabin. Everything we needed was provided as well for cooking, camp fires, even marshmallow sticks for S'mores.

Wonderful, comfortable home with beautiful views!

Beautiful home! We had 3 families stay at this property and all had plenty of space on our own floor. The common space was wonderful and inviting and the fire pit out back provided lots of campfire fun. Kitchen was very accommodating and had all of the essentials needed for cooking meals at home. Great location...the cabin was up in mountains so you felt removed, yet it was just a short drive to town! This place truly had everything that we could need...highly recommend! Few things to point out, the master is the only room with a fan and the master is listed as a "full-floor master" but it isn't...it shares the highest level floor with another room and bathroom.

Spring Skiing in Colorado
With 28 world-class resorts, Colorado is arguably the epicenter of North American ski culture. And spring is quite possibly the best time of year to ski these majestic mountains. The high elevation often brings “blue bird” conditions in ...the months of March and April. Complete with sunny, blue skies that make spring skiing so enjoyable – it’s a unique treat that Coloradans cherish. The best part? You typically don’t have to sacrifice excellent snow conditions to enjoy the milder weather. March and April are often the heaviest months for Colorado snowfall, so you’re equally likely to be cruising through fresh powder as you are to be getting a suntan. Now how’s that for a two-for-one?
