We certainly hope you like natural light, because windows will surround you and put you virtually at one with nature in this deceptively spacious Breckenridge manor. Located in the prestigious Gold Flake community, this hillside delight is just a short walk down the all-season Lincoln trail path from town. But that’s just about the only thing you'll be short on when you stay at Gold Flake Views. There’s just so much to do around here and so much room to do it in, too.
Let us be the first to warn you against being fooled by the view from the driveway. This sprawling 7-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home was literally built into the side of a hill, so what you see at first is but a fraction of what you're about to get. Designed with a reverse floorplan, the first couple of steps you'll want to take take will be up to the delightfully vaulted main living space. Let the viewing begin; don’t tire out your neck as you look upward at the cathedral ceilings. When you're ready to come back down to earth, you may become mesmerized by the views of downtown, the Ten Mile Mountain Range, and the ski slopes your family will no doubt be hitting in due time. The chef of your group will be salivating upon first glance at the roomy, modern kitchen. The hungry bellies that are doing the same can grab a quick bite at the breakfast bar, or settle in for a more formal meal at the dining room table that comfortably seats 12 more. Once satisfied in every manner, head over to the recessed family room. There you can turn on the gas fireplace and flip on a good movie. Snuggling is always encouraged.
If we may steal you away from the view on the adjacent porch - complete with a large grill - for a second, we’d like to take you down the central stairwell. Here, you’ll find sleeping quarters for your entire extended family. Bedrooms and bathrooms are available to you at every turn. There’s the two bunk-bed room for the kids. The twin daybed with a twin trundle for any teens. ...(see more)And queen- and king-sized bedrooms with connecting bathrooms and decks for the rest of the group. Did we mention the hot tub that occupies one of those decks? How about the additional media room with its very own kitchenette, flatscreen tv and fireplace? Yes, this house certainly is built to exceed your expectations. The truth is, however, there’s no such thing as too much of a good thing when you stay at Gold Flake Views.
