The mountain views from the upper balcony are not easily forgotten.

The turret reminds you that this is still a chateaux, despite its thoroughly modern design.

What's better than an 8 person hot tub? An 8 person hot tub with a mountain view, of course.

Just in case the heat of competition isn't enough to keep you warm, there's a stone fireplace downstairs.

With two undermount sinks, high end Wolf appliances, and a Sub-zero fridge, this kitchen would please even Julia Child herself.

What's most dramatic, the soaring stone fireplace, gorgeous view of the mountains, or the stunning windows?

Beautiful designer touches like the stone backsplash and granite countertops distinguish this kitchen.

The dining area offers seating for 10 with spectacular views of the mountains.

Watch movies on this 65" flatscreen TV from the comfortable leather sectional that converts to sleep 2 more.

The views are exceptional from every angle, whether you're looking out the window or not.

The architectural details are everywhere you look. The exposed wood beams nicely accentuate the cathedral ceiling.

Upstairs, you'll find a quiet office space, with desk and chess table (not seen here).

Let's just go ahead and admit it... the French have a few things pretty much figured out: food, art, techno music, and vacations! With a month off every year, they get lots and lots of practice. It's no wonder then that Mont Vista Chateaux is the epitome of vacation home perfection. Think of it as a modern interpretation of a French Chateaux, right in the heart of the Rockies. This home is a bit of a show off though...With 8 bedrooms, 6 1/2 baths, 2 gourmet kitchens, pool table, movie room with 65" flatscreen TV, and 8 person hot tub, it's practically mocking other homes in the area. It's even got a great location, just 5 blocks from downtown, with expansive mountain views throughout the house and a stop for the free shuttle downtown only 150 yds away. Everything in this house, from the Wolf range to the exposed wood beam architecture seems to have been designed to inspire envy.

Perfect house for friends/couples getaway

Rented the house for a guys ski trip--12 of us total and each had their own bed (if not their own room) without having to double up or sleep on couches. House was immaculate and well-stocked with all cookware/dishes needed. Both the grill and the hot tub were clean and worked great, and backyard and decks were secluded with great views of the mountain. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Advice: --even with moderate snow, car with 4-wheel drive a MUST for home's driveway --shuttle service to mountain at end of the block, a bit of a walk with skis/gear, but doable --sound system in the house a bit antiquated (old iPhone port, and no AUX input) so would recommend bringing own portable speaker

Mont Vista Chateau

Worked fine for our family. Only complaint is that I think they could afford a new BBQ grille

Great family reunion house

Hosted a family reunion with 16 adukts and 3 kids. Overall we were very impressed with the accommodations. The view from the house is incredible and the furnishings are top rate. The location is ideal - close to town yet lots of privacy. Enjoyed the kitchen and the open layout that allowed people to be together during meals & prep. The downstairs is also nice for family gathering when the kids were asleep. The bedroom with the bunk beds is a converted office so no closet or bathroom but the Master bedroom, on the same floor, is very large with a large bathroom & closet so the people occupying this room shared with the Master suite. Note that the bunk beds did not seem very sturdy if the kids were bigger - ours were 5 & 3 years old and was ok. Need to add screens - some were missing.
