Never has the phrase “staying in the woods” felt so authentic. That’s because at Columbine Rock Lodge, you are, both literally and metaphorically. This 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom rustic home is covered and furnished with genuine wood at every turn. The main floor consists of a gorgeous open floor plan, with vaulted ceilings, cathedral windows, hardwood floors, a gas fireplace to cozy up to, and decorative oak to continuously admire. And when the family gets hungry? Saddle up to the pine, picnic dining table and enjoy whatever is being prepared in the spacious, modern kitchen. You can even pretend you’re slumming if you like. But we’ll know the truth.
The upstairs is truly masterful in its elegance. A log, king-sized bed and jacuzzi await you in the master bedroom after a long day in the great outdoors. Or maybe you’ll choose to flop down in the loft sitting area while the kids climb onto the room’s log bunk beds. The bottom floor is just as comfortable, too. There, you’ll find two eloquent guest bedrooms, one with a blonde wood king, the other with an antique full bedroom set that can act as a separate suite. These two rooms share a bathroom, but every guest shares the memories that are created here.
Finally, for those looking for numbers that are as solid as the wood that created this natural retreat, here you go. Columbine Rock comfortably sleeps up to 11 people. It’s about 1 mile from Peaks 6, 7, and 8, and comes with 2 gondola parking passes that are included with your stay. You’ll need a 4x4 vehicle in the winter, and the ability to accept happiness when you’ve found it...all year round.
During the winter months, the firepit is not usable due to snow.

Your initial payment is 30% of the total, with the remaining balance due 60 days out from checkin. After the 24 hour grace period, all payments become non-refundable.
