We were delighted to find the Black Diamond

We stayed for 9 nights in July and it was a beautiful time of year. The chondola doesn't run in the summer but it was a 10 minute walk up the bike path/road to get to the village (quicker if you walk THROUGH the Peaks resort) and there's also a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to the market and Mountain Village (it runs from 6am-midnight daily). The meadows area is beautiful and a fair amount of locals/staff live in this area but the Terraces property is set apart from the local apartments. It was super quiet and peaceful. The property had all the amenities you could want in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. This property is on the 2nd floor so it was lovely to be able to leave the windows/glass door to deck open during day and night and have cool breeze. We saw some amazing thunderstorms too during our stay. I would definitely stay here again and I can imagine how wonderful it is during the winter being ski-in/out from two of the lifts. Thank you Invited Home!!

Denver Colorado Family

We were delighted to explore the western part of our state from this beautiful home. The home is well stocked/appointed, goergous and clean and the area is fabulous! We had hot weather and it was a little stuffy w/o a.c. but cooled off ok at night. The management team was very responsive to our concern about no hot water at all on arrival (on a Sunday no less) and they took care of it while we were out immediately. The home is very open so be aware that one bedroom with the full bed and futon is on a loft, open to the main living space/kitchen...for our kids this meant we had to have main area lights out and be super quiet, etc after their big deal since we were all exhausted early anyway from all the fun hikes surrounding. The free gondola transport system (only free one in the state I learned) is a real asset to the community and was fun! There is endless exploration and even an amazing hike with incredible vistas 10 yards down the hill from the property. The property is actually on a ski slope with hiking and exploration in that direction as well. We had a fantastic stay here and highly recommend.

Perfect location, great facilities, good service.

Location next to the Chondola/ski slopes was outstanding. The facilities are very expansive and comfortable. We understand that we were the second renters under a new owner. There were a few minor glitches, but response from management were surprisingly responsive and accomodating. All PROs and no CONs. When coming back to Telluride, we would look no further for accomodations. Special kudos to Ryan, though everyone was great to deal with. Door 2 Door - for ski equipment rental was also top notch.

Cms spring skiing in colorado 2016 the complete guide sm
Best Spring Skiing in Colorado
With 28 world-class resorts, Colorado is arguably the epicenter of North American ski culture. And spring is quite possibly the best time of year to ski these majestic mountains. The high elevation often brings “blue bird” conditions in ...the months of March and April. Complete with sunny, blue skies that make spring skiing so enjoyable – it’s a unique treat that Coloradans cherish. The best part? You typically don’t have to sacrifice excellent snow conditions to enjoy the milder weather. March and April are often the heaviest months for Colorado snowfall, so you’re equally likely to be cruising through fresh powder as you are to be getting a suntan. Now how’s that for a two-for-one?
