InvitedHome welcomes nine new luxury vacation homes in November

We had another great month of growth in November, with nine new vacation rental homes now ready for guests wanting the trip of a lifetime. These new getaways are spread out across Santa Barbara, Lake Tahoe, Telluride, Vail/Beaver Creek, and Breckenridge, and range in style from sun-drenched Spanish Revival homes to cozy ski-in/ski-out mountain chalets.

We’ve put together a breakdown of all our new homes to help you decide which is best for your next getaway.

Cms buckhorn

Buckhorn Ridge - North Lake Tahoe

At just under 10,000 square feet, North Lake Tahoe’s Buckhorn Ridge nearly ties for the largest home in our portfolio. It has five full bedrooms that can sleep 10, and is set in an unbeatable location amid the region’s signature Jeffrey Pines. Here are a few of our favorite features:

  • The outdoor patio Expansive, elegant, and with views of the entire mountain range, this is where you’ll want to be on a sunny day. Built from beautiful stone, there’s a massive gas grill, a two-story outdoor fireplace, and a hot tub with some of the best views anywhere in the home. There’s also window access to the bar inside, making it the perfect space for entertaining.
  • The study Rich wood bookcases, tufted chairs, a large desk, a cozy window nook, and even a rolling ladder make this one of the best places to get some reading done. 
  • The master bedroom Light a fire in the huge two-sided fireplace and wake up to magnificent views of the mountains from above the tops of the trees.

The Cordoban - Santa Barbara

Named after the famous medieval city of southern Spain, this white-walled wonder in Santa Barbara is in the heart of downtown, walking distance to all of the city’s best sights, and designed to be a place of peace amid this bustling city. A few of The Cordoban's best features include:

  • The outdoor deck From the high table and chairs on the upstairs outdoor deck, you can look out over the red roofs and green palms of Santa Barbara below. The ridgeline of the mountains stands out in the distance, and with a gas grill on the deck, it all comes together for a great evening in a private paradise.
  • The modern interior The whole home has a sleek, modern design that is a calming escape from the busy shopping and dining only a block away. Cool granite counters, track lighting, and polished wood floors can be found throughout. 
  • State Street Just one block over is Santa Barbara’s famous State Street, where you can shop, dine, or enjoy the nightlife. Follow this road and you’ll end up at the iconic Stearns Wharf and the beach.

Ridgeview at See Forever - Telluride

If you’re looking for views, you’ve found your home. Floor to ceiling windows that stretch the length of the living room and dining area appear as a panel of portraits displaying Telluride’s rugged mountain ridge. Ridgeview at See Forever a great choice for families, with three bedrooms that sleep six, and is a part of Telluride’s luxurious See Forever Village. Stay here for:

  • The dining area With a striking antler chandelier overhead and the breathtaking views of the mountain next to you, this is an unforgettable place to share a family meal. The dining table has space for six, and is set next to a grand stone fireplace for added ambiance. 
  • The outdoor fireplace The large outdoor patio has sweeping views of the mountains and a large outdoor fireplace, all set in large slabs of stone.
  • The castle design Many parts of the home’s beautiful interior resemble a lavish castle, with iron sconces, arched stone hallways, and grand centerpiece fireplaces.

Golden Arrow - Beaver Creek

With direct access to Beaver Creek’s Arrow Bahn ski lift, this cozy home is a great place for a family ski getaway, and has two bedrooms that comfortably sleep five. Only steps from the Broken Arrow restaurant, it’s ideally situated for skiing and nightlife. A few other features we love about Golden Arrow include:

  • The Arrowhead community You’ll have access to the pool and hot tubs within the Arrowhead community of homes, so you can recover and rejuvenate after a full day of skiing.
  • The private balcony You’ll feel like you have the woods to yourself as you sit on the private balcony, surrounded by the birch and pine trees native to the area. 
  • The cozy living area With fine leather couches and a large fireplace, you’ll have a great place to relax with the whole family.

Cms sierra

Sierra Shores - South Lake Tahoe

We love Sierra Shores because you get the best of both worlds: Lakefront views and plenty of space to sprawl, and its only minutes from the famed Heavenly Ski Resort. With three bedrooms, six people can sleep here, and the community offers plenty of amenities to improve your stay even more. A few of our favorites are:

  • Views from the porch The lush green grass, the blue sky and lake, and the swishing pines are an unbeatable backdrop at any time of day. Making the area even better, the covered patio is set under the beautiful wood and stone design of the Sierra Shores community, and there’s direct access to the lapping waters of Lake Tahoe.
  • The bus to Heavenly From here you’ll have easy access to Heavenly Ski Resort through the shuttle system, which operates from late November through early May.
  • The private jetted tub Relax in a large jetted tub set within smooth stone. It’s just one of the many luxuries of the master bedroom’s attached ensuite bathroom.

Blue Spruce Lookout - Beaver Creek

This Beaver Creek home has a Southwestern mountain feel through and through. From the Native American weave-inspired curtains and rugs to the rustic natural wood chairs and beams, you’ll be reminded you’re in the mountains in every room of Blue Spruce Lookout. Here are a few of our favorite features:

  • The fireplaces Synonymous with mountain luxury, grand fireplaces can set the tone for a ski getaway. Blue Spruce Lookout has two, and each are surrounded by cozy chairs and communal spaces for lounging and warming up. 
  • The three hot tubs You won’t find a crowd with three community hot tubs to choose from. All are large and located steps from the door to the main building. 
  • The bunk room While bunk rooms are typically reserved for the kids, this is a well-designed room for any age group. There are two captain’s bunks with a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top, and each are made from carved logs for a rustic touch.

Bear Peak Lodge - Breckenridge

Overlooking Breckenridge, Bear Peak Lodge towers five stories up into the mountains. With four large bedrooms, it can sleep up to 11 people, and has parking for six cars. All of this together makes it a great home for large family gatherings close to Breckenridge’s famous runs. Here are a few more details we love about this home:

  • The communal spaces The oversized wraparound couch in the main living area is exactly what you need in a home that sleeps 11 people. There’s also plenty of cozy, overstuffed chairs and stately tufted leather lounges in front of the fireplace. Ski-themed nooks dot the home, where you’ll find even more couches, chairs, and bean bags. 
  • The fifth-floor deck You’ll have your own private balcony from five floors up that has a truly unparalleled view of Breckenridge Ski Resort. There’s also a gas grill and chairs, so you can spend an evening cooking and visiting amid these fantastic views.
  • The free shuttle Breckenridge has a celebrated old town, where you can shop, dine, and enjoy the nightlife by way of the free shuttle, or use it to get to the base of the ski resort.

Forest Road Chateau - Vail

Vail’s Forest Road is one of the most exclusive residential streets in all of Vail Valley. At Forest Road Chateau, you’ll find a private master bedroom that has its own entrance, as well as plenty of space for visiting. With four bedrooms and the ability to sleep eight, it’s a great multi-family mountain getaway. A few more things we love about this home include:

  • The secluded deck The wraparound deck is tucked beneath the pine trees, where you’ll also find your own outdoor hot tub. All of this is set down the mountain and away from the road for ultimate privacy.

Grande Vista - Beaver Creek

Two-story windows, lofted ceilings, and grand mountain architecture all in the heart of Beaver Creek -- that’s what makes this home so special. With four bedrooms that sleep up to 10 people, it’s great for large groups, and is walking distance from world-class skiing and a great apres scene.
